SCSS Lecturers and Media Contacts

The SCSS membership includes many scholars with significant expertise and depth in Catholic social thought and its relationship to the social sciences.  If you seek a lecturer on these topics, or if you are a journalist or popular writer who needs help in understanding or interpreting the magisterium, see the list below of SCSS members willing to serve as lecturers and/or media contacts.  Views expressed by lecturers or media consultants do not necessarily reflect the official position of SCSS as an organization.  The assistance that media contacts provide is free.  How they decide to respond to requests for assistance is up to them and may take the form of: elucidations of Catholic social thought; suggestions for relevant information resources and bibliography; or referrals to other individuals who can help address questions about specific topics.   If you wish to quote an individual with whom you have consulted, please first request that person’s permission. Attribute the quote to that individual, not to SCSS.  We encourage you to take a look at the SCSS sponsored journal,  Catholic Social Science Review, issues of which are linked from this website, to obtain an idea of the range of  topics that engage SCSS members and others whose scholarship accords with the aim of the organization.

Note: In email addresses, the @ symbol has been replaced with (at).  To email that person, you can cut and paste email address into "to" line and replace the (at) with an @.
